When it comes to the internet, we understand that there are many things that can be worrisome. Here at Ipsos iSay, we're open about what we do, what we don't do, and, when we make mistakes. Here are some common questions and concerns that we've received from members.
If you're not trying to sell me anything, why do you keep asking if I intend to buy something?
Survey questions like "Do you intend to buy this product" are meant to find out what types of people are interested in a product. For example, we already know men are more likely to want to buy a moustache trimmer and women are more likely to buy a curling iron. However, sometimes it's hard to know what types of people would be interested in other certain products, so that's why we ask.
We will NEVER try to sell you anything!
I think Ipsos iSay charged my credit card! How did that happen?
Ipsos iSay never asks for your credit card information and we never charge for membership. Ipsos iSay is free to join and free to take surveys. If you see the Ipsos iSay name on your credit card bill, then it must be a fraudulent charge, originating from someone other than Ipsos iSay. Please Contact Us and let your credit card company know immediately.
Why am I getting spam after signing up with Ipsos iSay?
Ipsos iSay never shares your email address with anyone – 100% guaranteed. We are registered with Habeas and TRUSTe, two top email compliance organizations, as well as the top global market research organizations, including Casro, ESOMAR, MRA, and MRIA. Our business depends on the fact that we follow accredited email processes. We do not ever spam and we do not sell or share our contact lists.
I never got the reward I ordered. What's going on?
Although most of our virtual rewards are delivered instantly, in some cases delivery could take longer. If you've waited significantly longer than expected for your reward to arrive, please Contact Us so that we can look further into the issue.
Why am I still getting emails even though I terminated my membership a while ago?
You'll stop receiving emails from Ipsos iSay within 5 days of terminating your membership. If you're still receiving emails after that point, it could be because we have you registered with a different email address. Check the most recent Ipsos iSay email you received to see which address it was sent to, and request your membership termination with that address instead. If you continue to receive surveys more than 5 days after you terminated your membership, please Contact Us.
I was promised that I would make a lot of money taking surveys, but I haven't. Why is that?
If you were promised you’d earn a lot money for taking surveys, this offer did not come from Ipsos iSay and it’s not legitimate. As a member of Ipsos iSay (and most other legitimate market research companies) you will not earn big money by taking surveys, but you will earn fun rewards and your opinion will be heard by top decision-makers.
I was promised a pay-out or reward for joining, but I never received it. What happened?
Some members who joined Ipsos iSay may have been referred to us from a third-party site that promised a pay-out for joining Ipsos iSay. Those pay-outs are the responsibility of the referring company. Ipsos iSay does not offer payments just for joining. If you were expecting a pay-out and did not receive it, please contact the site that promised it to you.
Ipsos iSay invited me to join by sending me a spam email. How did you get my contact information?
Ipsos iSay never sends unsolicited email. You may be on the contact list with one of our affiliate providers, so you could have received an invitation to join Ipsos iSay through them. As an online market research company, we work with various providers of opt-in and double-opt-in e-mail addresses to constantly enlarge our panel and ensure national representation.
If you are not interested in joining Ipsos iSay, please click on the unsubscribe link at the end of the invitation you received, and we will not send you any more invitations to join the community. Please note that this might not prevent some of our providers themselves from sending you invitations.
Why do I always screen out of or not qualify for surveys?
Many surveys are looking for specific characteristics that might or might not apply to you. Screening out of or not qualifying during the early stages of a survey ensures that we don’t waste your time taking the entire survey.
Some surveys are also looking for a certain number of respondents from particular demographic groups. When a survey ends early for you, that could mean that we already have the necessary number of respondents from your demographic group.
